Overview

We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize our network infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy troubleshooting network issues, improving performance, and ensuring reliable connectivity in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network systems, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud connectivity
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement improvements
• Troubleshoot network problems and provide timely, effective resolutions
• Ensure best practices in network security, compliance, and redundancy
• Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams on network-related projects
• Document network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
• Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and implementations
• Support network-related aspects of IT projects and initiatives

Qualifications

Junior–Mid-Level Engineer (0–4+ years of relevant experience)

• Experience in network administration, network engineering, or related IT roles
• Solid knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools
• Basic understanding of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Based in Germany with legal authorization to work full-time
