This is not a typical Account Executive role.

This is a rare opportunity to build and scale the DACH market for a fast-growing European SaaS platform in the digital content ecosystem.

You will own a strategic territory, develop midmarket+ / enterprise accounts, and help build the future commercial presence in DACH.

Think entrepreneurial sales role, not just quota carrying.

Your Mission

As Founding Account Executive – DACH, you will own and grow the region. You’ll work directly with the company’s sales leadership to build pipeline, close midmarket+ / enterprise deals and expand the market presence.

Territory ownership

  • Develop the DACH market
  • Identify strategic enterprise opportunities
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders

Deal execution

  • Drive the full sales cycle
  • Lead complex deals with enterprise and upper midmarket accounts
  • Position the platform as a strategic digital infrastructure
  • Build pipeline through outbound, inbound, Partners channel and upsell opportunities
  • Target industries such as:
  • ecommerce/retail
  • marketplaces
  • multi-brand enterprises
  • (...)
  • Work with partners: ISV, digital agencies and technology integrators
  • Support the regional Go-To-Market strategy

Profile

We are looking for a senior enterprise seller with a builder mindset.

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years in B2B SaaS sales
  • Strong experience closing complex midmarket and enterprise deals
  • Excellent objection handling, negotiation, and value-based selling skills
  • Experience using Hubspot, Salesforce and modern sales engagement tools
  • Strong interest in SaaS, AI-driven platforms, and digital ecosystems
  • Clear hunter mindset with a strong outbound track record

Industry exposure (highly relevant)

Experience selling solutions such as:

  • DAM
  • PIM
  • E-commerce infrastructure

Languages

  • Native German (mandatory)
  • Professional English
  • French is a plus
