My client, a global organization currently has an urgent requirement for a talented Account Manager to join on a permanent basis. In this role, you will take ownership of a high-potential territory, developing strategic customer partnerships and expanding market presence in clinical and laboratory environments. You will work closely with key decision-makers at all levels, including physicians, procurement teams, and purchasing departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales activities for diagnostic products and solutions within your assigned territory
  • Acquire new customers while strengthening and expanding existing relationships
  • Drive strategic territory development based on potential analyses and customer segmentation
  • Independently deliver sales and profit targets through structured opportunity management
  • Define and implement customer projects aligned with agreed marketing and sales concepts
  • Position the portfolio in a value-based way along the customer value chain
  • Maintain accurate documentation and pipeline management

You will also be responsible for:

  • Consistent application of structured strategic selling methodologies
  • Monitoring market trends and competitive developments
  • Active participation in exhibitions, workshops, and customer information events
  • Supporting complaint management selectively and professionally
  • Close collaboration with internal colleagues across sales, marketing, product management, technical support, and customer service

Your profile

  • Degree in biology, biotechnology, medical technology, or a comparable scientific field
  • At least 2 years of experience in consultative sales of diagnostic products
  • Proven sales success, ideally in molecular diagnostics or microbiology
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and commercial skills (sales planning and control)
  • Solid market understanding of clinical and laboratory environments
  • Fluency in both English and Germany
