The Role We are looking for an entrepreneurial Account Partner to grow Veeva Basics, a suite of highly scalable out-of-the-box R&D applications that significantly speed up the time to market for emerging biotech organizations. These are standardized, pre-configured applications without the implementation and maintenance costs. This product will have a major impact on the industry and is the only platform on the market.

The Veeva Basics Account Partner will be responsible for meeting annual sales goals and helping the team achieve long-range growth targets. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities, winning new business, and managing executive-level relationships with emerging biotechs.

Responsibilities

Evangelize the product to become recognized as the default solution for emerging biotechs

Understand and execute the sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources

Understand your territory deeply to form and execute on a sales strategy

Keep current with industry trends and engage customers through marketing events

Act with urgency, integrity, and a relentless focus on customer success

Meet/Exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets

Requirements

5+ years of work experience

Including 3+ years in R&D domains, SaaS selling into Life Sciences

Experience selling complementary or competitive solutions into R&D

Have entrepreneurial instincts and mindset

Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision

Passion and demonstrated results in a sales role to C-Level executives

Ability to articulate business cases and value propositions to C-Level executives

Have a bias for action

Fluent English and German

Nice to Have

Experience of building and owning community forums and events
