Accountant / Finance Expert (d/m/f)

As Business Unit Automotive & Speciality Lamps we support our vision and strategy by expanding our leading position in the automotive lighting market in OEM and Aftermarket. We are in a global leadership position in the automotive lamps business in traditional and LED applications and offer industry leading products in LED lighting to global OEM customers (e.g. with exchangeable LED light sources). We also tackle new growth opportunities in the Aftermarket with our automotive care and equipment portfolio.

For you as Accountant / Finance Expert (d/m/f), this means a unique opportunity to actively shape this change.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, particularly in the GR/IR area
• Reconciliation of payroll and salary accounts
• Support for the Senior Finance Manager in operational and strategic tasks
• Active involvement in shaping and optimising financial processesParticipation in monthly closing under IFRS and JGAAP
• Preparation and contribution to statutory financial statements under German GAAP (HGB)
• Monthly closing of VAT accounts and close collaboration with the tax advisor
• Close cooperation with the Shared Service Centre

Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration with a focus on accounting/finance or comparable, Tax background desirable (e.g. trained as a Tax Clerk and/or Certified Accountant)
• First professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in an international environment
• Solid knowledge of HGB, IFRS, and JGAAP
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
• Analytical thinking, structured working style, and high attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• Business-fluent English
• Hands-on mentality and proactive approach
