Actuarial Intern, Pricing

You will join our team as a Life Pricing Intern where you’ll become part of Munich Re’s Life and Health team in Singapore. In this role, you will work closely with the Pricing team on the production/review of reinsurance quotes and designated projects, while supporting senior pricing actuaries in improving and establishing processes. Your work will contribute to comprehensive reports and insights that support informed organizational decision-making.

We are seeking interns available for a full-time commitment from May to December 202 6 only – please apply only if you can commit to this period.

Your Role

• Support pricing actuaries in production/review of Reinsurance quotes.
• Assist in development of pricing parameters and assumtions.
• Contribute to allocated projects such as experience studies, data validation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
• Prepare clear documentation of processes and analyses to support transparency and knowledge sharing.

Your Profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines.
• Proficient in MS Excel,VBAand SQL.
• Experience or knowledge of Life Insurance principles and products will be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Knowledgeable in Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
