The Department of General Business within the Chambers College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University invites applications for part‑time adjunct faculty positions to teach undergraduate courses.
The department offers courses in hospitality and tourism management, organizational leadership, and business communications. It values intellectual diversity and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse students and colleagues. Areas of need include, but may not be limited to, classroom and online courses in the above subjects.
These positions require a master’s or doctoral degree in business or a related discipline and the ability to teach in one of the aforementioned subjects. Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per‑course basis. While these positions are not anticipated to be benefits eligible, individual positions may become benefits eligible based on course load, which may vary depending on departmental need.
Please submit via PDF file: (a) a letter of application summarizing your teaching qualifications (please mention which subject matter(s) you feel qualified to teach); (b) your curriculum vitae; and (c) contact information for two individuals who can provide letters of recommendation.
