Advanced Design Engineer Dry Gas Seals

Responsibilities:

• Independent, high-quality design and technical implementation of sealing solutions for international customers in the field of

  turbomachinery and compressors

• Design of test rigs and setups for the qualification and validation of compressor seals

• Independent technical development of customer-specific sealing solutions and the adaptation of selected seal product lines to cutomer-specific standards, partly in cooperation with OEMs

• Technical lead contact for Sales, Manufacturing, and customers for all design-related matters

• Active contribution to the development of innovative, sustainable and emission-free sealing solutions for the future energy infrastructure

• Close cooperation with international design teams

• Collaboration with external partners, research institutes and suppliers throughout the entire order process

Qualifications:

• Successfully completed technical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, or a comparable field)
• Confident use of a 3D CAD program combined with the motivation to independently implement demanding engineering designs
• Knowledge in the field of turbomachinery and/or sealing technology is an advantage
• Team-oriented personality with a structured and self-reliant working style
• Very good command of English and German, both written and spoken (min. C1 level)
• High level of motivation, willingness to learn and strong technical quality mindset
• Excellent communication skills and confident appearance in direct interaction with customers
