Aero Design Lead (m/f/d) Ignition Burner Development

Responsibilities

• Development of an ignition burner system for a new generation of turbomachinery burners
• Concept and basic design development in close collaboration with the existing development team
• Leading and coordinating design activities within the existing aerodesign team
• Execution of aerodesign tasks throughout the development process
• Technical contribution to the design and development of advanced burner systems in the field of combustion engineering, aerospace engineering, and mechanical engineering
• Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to deliver innovative solutions for complex turbomachinery applications

Qualifications

• Completed Master's degree or higher in Combustion Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
• A PhD is considered an advantage
• More than three years of professional experience in the relevant technical field
• Proven experience in the development, design, or aerodesign of ignition systems, burners, or turbomachinery components
• Strong knowledge of Star-CCM+, ANSYS, Teamcenter, and MS Office
• Solid hands-on experience in aerodesign tasks and technical development within engineering environments
• Strong ability to lead, coordinate, and manage technical design activities within an engineering team
• Business fluent English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel
