Aerospace System Engineer – Germany | Airbus Projects

Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group), a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for System Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Germany, working directly on Airbus projects.

Locations include the Hamburg area and the Bavarian region, as well as other sites across the country.

What You Will Do

• Develop the system architecture for complex optronic and mechatronic products.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary system activities, requirements, and specifications across sites.
• Manage system breakdown, testing definition, qualification supervision, and development reviews.
• Lead technical coordination with internal/external partners, prototype/testing support, and production ramp‑up.
• Contribute to offer evaluation, cost/performance optimization, and process standardization.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Physics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant hands‑on experience in DOORS, system architecture modeling, and interdisciplinary system integration.
• C1 English Level – mandatory.
• C1 German Level – desirable.
• Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
