The Role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer who lives and breathes the Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem, specifically Azure AI Foundry (formerly AI Studio).

You won't just be connecting APIs. You will be designing complex, secure, and scalable AI architectures that solve real business problems. You will be our go‑to expert for building sophisticated RAG pipelines, fine‑tuning models, and creating autonomous agents within the Azure environment.

Location: This is a 100% remote role . We are explicitly looking for talent in strong tech hubs globally, with a strong interest in candidates from India, Malaysia, Indonesia , who are comfortable working asynchronously and syncing with CET (Berlin time) for key meetings.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

• Architect & Build: Design and deploy end-to-end AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry as your primary workbench.
• Master RAG: Build advanced Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. You know your way around vector databases (Azure AI Search, Pinecone) and know how to optimize chunking strategies for the best results.
• Model Orchestration: Work with the full catalog of LLMs and SLMs available in Azure (GPT‑4o, Mistral, Llama family, Phi‑3). You know when to use a massive model and when an efficient SLM is the better choice.
• Prompt Flow & Agents: Utilize Azure Prompt Flow to build robust, testable AI workflows and develop autonomous agents that can execute tasks across different systems.
• Security & Governance: Implement AI solutions that are enterprise‑ready, focusing on data privacy, Azure RBAC, Private Endpoints, and Responsible AI guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our consultants and clients to translate business requirements into technical AI specifications.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Deep Azure Expertise: Proven, hands‑on experience with the Azure AI stack (Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Services, and specifically deep familiarity with the AI Foundry interface and SDKs). Azure certification is a strong plus.
• Coding Chops: Strong proficiency in Python (LangChain, Semantic Kernel experience is highly valued).
• Vector DB Knowledge: Solid understanding of embeddings and vector search technologies.
• Problem‑Solver Mindset: You don't just build what is asked; you challenge assumptions and find the most efficient technical path to the business goal.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills. You can explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Remote DNA: You are disciplined, proactive, and thrive in a distributed, asynchronous work environment.
