AI Data Apps Lead

Overview

We’re looking for an innovative and passionate AI Data Apps Lead to join our Data Engineering team and take ownership of our growing suite of AI‑powered data applications . This is a unique opportunity to work at the cutting edge of AI-assisted development ("vibe coding") as we continue expanding our portfolio of AI-built apps. You’ll shape the technical architecture, manage cloud deployment, lead projects and help bring non‑AI-native teams up to speed on modern AI workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Own and design the technical architecture, deployment, and lifecycle of our AI-built data applications
• Use AI-assisted development ("vibe coding") to accelerate prototyping and delivery, champion AI-assisted development methodologies across the team
• Architect and manage cloud-based data infrastructure (Azure, Databricks, etc.)
• Oversee code management practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies
• Ensure data platform scalability, reliability, and security
• Guide and upskill internal teams that are not yet familiar with AI tools

Your Profile

• 7+ years in data engineering, data platforms, or application development
• Experience with vibe coding and AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.), knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and rapid AI prototyping
• Strong React development experience
• Familiarity with backend development and API integrations
• Experience being in a technical leadership or mentorship role
• Hands-on experience delivering applications from concept to production
• Portfolio of AI-built or AI-enhanced projects (including personal pet projects)
