What you will do — Responsibilities

As an Enterprise AI Pre-Sales Technical Specialist, you will work alongside Lenovo Technical Sales teammates in Germany and Austria to turn client requirements into Enterprise AI solutions. Responsibilities span from datacenter, edge, to workstations and workplace. In your pre-sales role, you will design solutions, from selecting the right building blocks, to turning them into configurations, to describing, discussing, and presenting solutions to clients. You will help enable our business partners to drive the Enterprise AI business more self-sufficiently. You will collaborate with our Enterprise AI business development specialist and client managers to enable and scale the Enterprise AI business.

You will help our clients deploy Lenovo technology with confidence to achieve real outcomes for their business and contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability using Lenovo technology and innovation.

What you will need — Qualifications

• Excitement for data center, server and networking technology and motivation to dig into details, while also acquiring breadth of technical skills.
• Previous technical AI experience and hands-on deployment of AI solutions. Familiar with AI software tool stacks, preferably NVIDIA Enterprise AI. Experience with LLMs, RAG solutions, and how AI workloads are deployed. Familiar with terms like vGPU, MIG, NVLink and NIMs. Existing NVIDIA certifications are welcome but not mandatory. Open to a range of seniorities from graduate to senior professionals.
• Experience with client-facing roles (e.g., in current role, internships, or studies).
• Strong presentation skills and ability to convey complex technical solutions clearly to different audiences.
• Bachelor or Master of Science degree and a client-oriented, independent working style.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; proficient in MS Office.
• Motivation and interest in technical sales and the IT industry.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.

Work arrangements

You will be working flexibly 3 out of 5 days in our Stuttgart office and up to 2 days in your home office, except when traveling to see clients or attend events. Expect up to 3 days of travel per week within Germany and Austria, with periods of lower travel demand.

Additional information

During onboarding, team members will provide time and guidance to ensure a great learning experience and integration into the extended Lenovo team. You will be part of the GAT (Germany, Austria) CTO organization, reporting to the CTO for GAT, and collaborating with EMEA and global teams.
