AIRBUS: Junior Capex Manager (d/m/w)

Overview

As a Junior Capex Manager (m/f/d), you will manage an investment portfolio in close collaboration with internal partners (Finance and Procurement), providing guidance on prioritization and clear criteria for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Work with business project teams to support and assess Capex investments for both day-to-day as well as strategic investment projects, bringing objective technical challenge and industrial know-how


• Understand the impact of project cycle-time changes and adjust the annual forecast accordingly


• Support the development and alignment of the annual operating plan (OP), ensuring Airbus’ top priorities are integrated


• Support the development of tools and best practices and ensure proper project and portfolio governance


• Support post-implementation assessments to secure process adherence and ensure project benefits are realized

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field


• Professional experience in manufacturing/production, finance, manufacturing engineering, project management, and contract management


• Shopfloor experience is an asset


• Strong knowledge of process management and risk management


• Familiarity with data analytics, digitalization, and CAPEX management tools is an advantage


• Experience working with Google Workspace (especially Gemini)


• Business-fluent English skills; German, French, or Spanish are a plus


• Commitment, conscientiousness and integrity in all tasks and responsibilities


• Strong belief in and contribution to effective teamwork


• High level of expertise, creativity and enthusiasm across all areas of work


• Result orientation with a proactive approach to daily responsibilities


• Strong analytical skills combined with solid project-management capabilities


• Proven influencing, negotiation, communication and presentation skills
