We are seeking you as a Structural Assembly Mechanic in the A400M environment for Airbus Defence and Space GmbH at its Bremen location – for a fixed-term contract of 1 year. You will work closely with the product, using clear drawings, established standards, and high-quality requirements. The position is subject to export controls and a secure hiring process.

The gross annual salary is up to €46,168, depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work on the aircraft fuselage, e.g., for damage to the outer skin.
• Prepare work orders by reviewing and sorting work orders and drawings.
• Set up components and the work area, as well as inspect and prepare manufacturing aids.
• Position and secure components according to specifications.
• Assemble components and subassemblies in the structural assembly area.
• Document the work steps performed in accordance with process requirements.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or in a metalworking trade.
• Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production as well as in aircraft construction and structural assembly (experience in the aviation sector is required).
• Advanced German (min. B2); willingness to work 3 shifts.
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory.
