AOCS & GNC Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Design and Development of AOCS/GNC subsystems
• Design, Development and Verification of AOCS/GNC algorithms and software
• Perform AOCS/GNC analysis and simulation campaigns
• Development of AOCS/GNC analysis and simulation tools
• Support to satellite projects from start to customer acceptance
• Support to satellite proposals and system studies for AOCS/GNC topics
• Preparation of technical documentation

Qualifications

• Engineering or doctoral degree in aerospace engineering or comparable qualifications and first professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience in the space business, especially with AOCS/GNC subsystems and software
• Good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, programming language C and Office Tools
• Good knowledge in estimation and control theory
• High motivation and proactive involvement
• Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in international teams
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Fluency in spoken and written German is a plus
