Application Engineer (Air Operated Pumps)

About The Role

We are seeking an Application Engineer with experience in Electrical pumps or a mechatronics background to act as the key technical interface between customers and the business.

In this role, you will support customers in selecting, implementing, and applying technical products, while delivering expert guidance across product design, troubleshooting, and application testing.

You will collaborate closely with internal departments—including product development, purchasing, order processing, and assembly—to ensure high-quality technical solutions and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and internal sales teams.
Design and configure products for customer-specific applications.
Prepare tailored technical quotations based on customer requirements.
Act as the interface between engineering, purchasing, order processing, and assembly.
Support after-sales activities and resolve technical issues in collaboration with development engineers.
Participate in trade fairs and represent the business in technical discussions.
Deliver product training to customers.
Conduct application tests with internal test kits and produce clear technical documentation for target groups.
Gather customer feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

Experience in Air Operated Pumps/ Flow industry experience required
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field; alternatively, technician-level training.
Up to 2 years of experience in a similar application engineering or technical support role.
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Fluent in German and English.
