Application Engineer for Power Electronics (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

  • You will leverage your oscilloscope expertise to drive innovation, ensure product quality, support global customers, and shape future roadmap development through testing, technical documentation, and collaborative engagement with sales and engineering.
  • You’ll serve as a global expert in testing and validating high‑power electronics designs, leveraging oscilloscopes and probes to guarantee optimal performance and push the boundaries of innovation.
  • You’ll provide comprehensive technical support for oscilloscopes and probes, directly assisting customers worldwide and ensuring they get the most out of our solutions.
  • You’ll shape the future of our products by contributing your technical expertise to define customer requirements for roadmap planning – spanning software, hardware, and oscilloscope probes.
  • You’ll empower our sales team by developing compelling product demonstrators that clearly highlight key capabilities and drive customer interest.
  • You’ll drive product quality to the next level through rigorous application testing of new features and enhancements, ensuring a robust and reliable user experience.
  • You’ll create impactful technical resources, including application notes, white papers, and app cards, to educate and enable our customers to succeed.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with sales to deliver engaging customer demos, informative seminars, and effective training programs, building strong relationships and fostering trust.
  • You’ll capture and analyze critical market feedback through our systematic CCB process, playing a vital role in continuous product improvement and customer satisfaction.

Your Qualifications

  • You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, providing you with a strong foundation for success in this role.
  • You bring several years of practical experience in the design or validation of power circuits, demonstrating your ability to deliver impactful results.
  • You have a solid understanding of Test & Measurement (T&M) instruments – including oscilloscopes and power supplies – which will be highly valued in this position.
  • You’re enthusiastic about solving complex problems and delivering innovative solutions that benefit our customers.
  • You communicate effectively in both English and German, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with our global team and customers.
  • You’re willing to travel internationally approximately 20% of the time, enabling you to directly support our customers and projects worldwide.
