Technically Speaking

Automation Suite is a software used to design a digital twin, build robot path, simulate motion and sensor data collection. Integrated functions such as automatic path planning, collision detection help the user to build a safe, repeatable and optimized automated workflow.

Once connected, it interacts with all the environment (metrology sensor, robot/cobot, rotary table, linear axis, inspection software, PLC). Automation Suite being the only interface for the operator allowing a smooth integration in the factory.

How we work

Our HQ is in Switzerland and our main office is in Germany. While we operate mostly remote, sales

and application engineering regularly meets in our offices in Germany.

What you can expect

• Hands-On Technical Work: Lead the installation of complex automation systems and ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Tasks

• Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, resolving product-related issues and answering technical queries.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Issue Documentation: Document technical issues and solutions in a knowledge base to aid future troubleshooting efforts.
• Technical Presentations: Assist the sales team by providing technical presentations and demonstrations of products to potential customers.
• Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Develop and deliver PoCs to showcase product capabilities and address specific customer needs.
• Customer Onboarding: Support new customers during the onboarding process, ensuring smooth integration and adoption of the application.
• Testing: Conduct rigorous testing of applications to ensure they meet quality standards and function as intended.
• Bug Reporting: Identify, report, and track bugs or issues, working closely with development teams to resolve them.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and API documentation.
• Training: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on how to use and maintain applications.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent technical support and solutions.
• Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues through workshops, training sessions, and collaborative projects.

Requirements

• Fluent in German and English.
• Located in Munich / Bad Feilnbach Region
• Proven experience in supporting the installation and commissioning of industrial automation or metrology systems.
• Strong project management skills, capable of leading customer projects from conception through to completion.
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt solutions in response to customer feedback.
• Effective communication skills, essential for liaising with customers, understanding their requirements and providing clear updates.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, support, and development teams, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Willingness to travel, as the role may require on-site visits to customer locations for installations and troubleshooting.
