Responsibilities

• Sell‑side and buy‑side operational due diligence, pre‑ and post‑deal carve‑out, integration, operational value creation, performance improvement & revenue enhancement, cost optimisation, day‑1 readiness & 100‑day planning, mitigating risk for clients and target operating model design.
• Contributions to projects across functional areas such as sales, manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics and purchasing.
• Tracking project progress and escalating issues in a timely manner to ensure key milestones, deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Supporting the development of pitch materials and conducting research to contribute to thought leadership initiatives for Private Equity and Corporate clients.

Requirements

• Excellent academic record and previous experience at a leading advisory firm, Big 4, or a company undergoing significant transformation activities.
• Well‑developed analytical skills combined with a structured working style and the ability to conduct deep‑dive analysis.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and previous experience building financial models & writing client reports are advantageous.
• Established interest in building a career in consulting within operational value creation, performance improvement or transformation.
• Native or business‑fluent German & English (C1) are essential; additional European languages are highly desirable.
• Professional, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and clients in high‑pressure situations.
• Flexibility to travel when required for client engagements.
