The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit for its Group Information Systems Directorate (GIS), Digital Transformation & Innovation Department (DTI), Data & Information Governance Division (DIG), Policies and Forums Unit (PF) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, an Associate Data and Information Governance Officer (Policies and Forums).
This is a full‑time position at grade 4 for which the EIB offers a permanent contract.

Panel interviews are anticipated for March/April 2026.
Design and maintain data and information governance policies and frameworks in different domains such as metadata management, data quality, reporting or End‑User Computing, as well as information classification and data leakage protection to ensure that the EIB Group follows best banking principles (BBP).
The Data and Information Solutions Department drives the EIB Group’s information & data management practices and systems in line with relevant policies & frameworks, and information management best practices both for data and other information assets ensuring high quality data and information assets for EIB core processes and corporate decision making, to support drive for digitalization, efficiency and implementation of the BBP.

Unless stated explicitly as a required qualification, a good command of French is not a pre‑requisite for hire. As both English and French are however official working languages of the EIB, proficiency in both languages is a pre‑requisite for your future career development. Any language clause in your contract must be fulfilled in order for you to be eligible for a promotion. Proficiency is understood to mean the attainment of level 5 of the Inter Institutional language courses, corresponding to B1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). The Bank offers appropriate training support.
