Associate Group Controlling and Reporting (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Prepare the management reporting for actuals, forecasts and budgets and conduct Group budget and long-term planning processes, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery to RTL Group management and the Board.
• Review reported financial information for consistency, accuracy, and quality; ensure alignment between internal and external reporting in close collaboration with RTL Group Financial Reporting.
• Develop and implement reporting solutions, processes, and KPI frameworks to support management decisions and enhance financial transparency across the Group.
• Cooperate closely with RTL Group’s subsidiaries to ensure standardized reporting practices and share best practices across the Group.
• Support Group Controlling activities, including the preparation of Executive Committee and Board of Directors meetings.
• Conceptualize and deliver Group performance updates and ad-hoc analyses, translating complex financial data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
• Support capital markets communication by preparing inputs for quarterly reports and investor presentations in collaboration with other headquarter departments.

Your Profile

• Excellent university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, ideally with a focus on finance or accounting.
• More than 3 years of professional experience in management reporting, financial controlling, or a related area; experience in an international or listed company is a plus.
• Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail, high commitment, and sound business judgment.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a team-player mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, businesses, and territories.
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with finance systems and BI solutions, knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Financial Consolidation, Anaplan XL and OneStream is a strong plus.
• Proven experience contributing to finance transformation or tool implementation projects is a plus.
• Fluency in English, proficiency in German and/or French language is a plus.
