Associate, Loan Agency - CRE | German Speaker | Frankfurt (Hybrid)

We’re partnering with a prestigious organisation to recruit a Commercial Real Estate Loan Servicing Associate with German language skills. This is a unique opportunity to manage a complex portfolio of real estate loans across Europe, including Germany, the UK, France, Netherlands, and Spain, while working closely with borrowers, lenders, and internal stakeholders on high-impact initiatives.

Associate, Loan Agency - CRE – What you’ll be doing:

• Maintain and service a portfolio of complex commercial real estate loans, including scheduled activity (interest, principal, fees) and unscheduled activity (advances, payoffs).
• Perform key roles such as Facility Agent, Security Trustee, Servicer, Cash Manager, and Registrar across various balance sheet and securitisation/note financing structures.
• Review and interpret complex loan and securitisation documentation (facility agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documentation, servicing agreements, liquidity facility agreements).
• Work with borrowers, lenders, and legal teams to document amendments, manage defaults, and propose solutions for ‘troubled loans.’
• Analyse financial data, including cash flow modelling, and prepare reports for internal committees and external investors as required.
• Foster strong relationships with internal teams, participant banks, co-lenders, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, elevate risks, and ensure smooth portfolio management.
• Contribute to organizational initiatives, process improvement, and a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Associate, Loan Agency - CRE – What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in loan servicing, asset management, or primary servicing analyst roles within commercial real estate or banking.
• Fluent in German and English (written and verbal).
• Strong understanding of complex loan structures, financial analysis, and legal documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across international portfolios and jurisdictions.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working independently while collaborating in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Excel (formulas, macros) and other financial tools.
• Degree in finance, accounting, real estate, business, or equivalent.

Work Structure:

Hybrid: 3 days/week in Frankfurt office; 2 days from home.
