Your Tasks

• Your main responsibility is to proactively manage a portfolio of project finance transactions primarily in the Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT) sector with the flexibility to cover additional portfolios when needed.
• This means, you work closely with clients, sponsors, and other external parties in the TMT, Fiber, Data Center, and Healthcare segments while collaborating with legal counsel, advisors, and internal teams like Sector Coverage and Risk Management alongside Syndications, Balance Sheet Management, Legal and Capital Markets & Advisory – both in Germany and across the global ING network.
• From credit modifications and regular reviews (individual and portfolio level) to rating reviews and early warning assessments as well as other monitoring you execute key portfolio management actions diligently and in line with internal procedures.
• In your commitment to excellence you deliver and defend high quality credit submissions, including financial model updates, credit packs, and legal analysis to facilitate and support the decision-making process of our mandate holders.
• You contribute meaningfully to the management of distressed situations, watchlist, and restructuring cases and steer capital velocity measures for a balanced risk-return portfolio.
• And with the future of our bank in mind, you diligently analyse industry trends and sector outlooks, prepare and present your findings and contribute to both local and global initiatives.

Your Profile

• Multiple years of professional experience in an analyst / associate role in Wholesale Banking
• Preferably background in the Lending / Project Finance / TMT sector
• Basic understanding of Specialised Lending / Structured Finance loan documentation
• Strong financial modelling ability combined with credit analysis and writing expertise
• Proficiency in MS Office, Copilot and rating tools
• Proactive team player with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Open to cultural diversity in an international environment
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
