Banking Finance & Capital Markets Lawyer (1-3 years)

Introduction :

Our client, a well-established American law firm with a global network, is seeking a talented Banking, Finance & Capital Markets Lawyer to join its Luxembourg office. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior partners, gain exposure to high-profile cross-border transactions, and develop expertise in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities :

• Advise clients on a variety of banking, finance, and capital markets transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements and financial instruments.
• Support senior lawyers in deal execution, regulatory compliance, and client communication.
• Participate in client meetings and calls, providing technical insights and updates.
• Contribute to internal legal updates and newsletters on relevant regulatory changes.

Profile :

• 1-3 years of experience in banking, finance, or capital markets, ideally in a law firm or corporate environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of Luxembourgish and EU regulations.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills in English; French is an asset.
• Client-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a collaborative team.
