Qualifications:

• Associate degree in biomedical equipment technology or 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication.
• Understanding of electronics, regulations, and technical data interpretation.
• Maintenance, repair, and testing of biomedical equipment, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Moderate physical effort, color vision test passing, and ability to work in various environments.

Duties:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled services, including inspections, maintenance, repairs, and testing of medical equipment.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment updates.
• Inspect and test malfunctioning equipment, disassemble, repair, and replace defective parts.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and service as per manufacturer specifications.
• Test, evaluate, and classify medical equipment for serviceability and disposition.
• Ensure proper use of equipment to protect patients and staff from hazards.
• Stay updated through technical manuals and training sessions.
