Sales Account Manager - Bioprocess Filtration



Location: Bavaria, Germany


Territory: DACH Region & Poland


Salary and package: €90,000 – €110,000 + 30% Annual Sales Bonus & Company Car

The Role


As a Sales Account Manager within the Life Sciences division, you will develop long‑term customer relationships, act as a trusted technical advisor, and deliver tailored solutions that meet the most pressing biopharmaceutical production needs.



Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Partner with biopharma and CDMO clients to align process requirements with our evolving portfolio of single‑use technologies.

  • Serve as the main interface between the customer and internal stakeholders (product development, engineering, supply chain).

  • Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline, turning qualified leads into long‑term partnerships.

  • Negotiate pricing and contracts, balancing profitability, customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.

  • Collaborate with channel partners to ensure alignment and optimal market coverage.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and conferences to deepen market insight.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and commercial insights to inform strategic decisions.

  • Feed customer insight back into the business to shape future innovation and product roadmaps.



Qualifications



  • Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or related field (MBA desirable but not essential).

  • At least five years’ sales or account management experience within the biopharma, bioprocessing or single‑use systems sector.

  • Commercially aware, able to identify market opportunities and influence decision‑makers in highly regulated environments.

  • Technically confident, capable of understanding complex production challenges and proposing fit‑for‑purpose solutions.

  • Articulate and personable with excellent written and spoken communication skills.

  • Strategic mindset, yet hands‑on in execution.

  • Self‑starter—driven, curious and proactive in pursuit of growth.
