We are looking for a Bookkeeper / Financial Accountant (f/m/d) to strengthen our team as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring all bills are paid on time.
• Verify and carry out payment processes, keep track of any outstanding items, reconciling open items, and maintain master data.
• Support the reconciliation of bank and cash accounts, including the creation of accruals.
• Process travel expenses and credit card transactions, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and handle various accounting entries (e.g., accruals, reclassifications, and deferrals).
• Create reports and analyses of financial data to enable management for better decision making.
• Assist in further tasks and projects, such as the preparation of financial statements and advance VAT returns.

Your profile

• Successfully completed your commercial education with a focus on finance, bookkeeping, taxes or comparable.
• Possess several years of experience in a similar position, with extensive experience applying VAT and commercial law regulations (HGB).
• Ideally, have supported the preparation of financial statements.
• Have experience with various financial software (e.g., Hamburger Software, Microsoft Dynamics, DATEV, MS Navision); a software shift would be an advantage.
• Prefer working independently, reliably and precisely, with a proactive hands‑on mentality.
• Demonstrate a strong affinity for numbers and Excel, and good team collaboration skills.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills in German, preferably also in English.
