Job responsibilities

Business Management

  • Ensure sales achievements and profitability targets
  • Drive and monitor business performance and manage commercial activity
  • Strong partner of head office in analyzing results, providing relevant reports, proposing and implementing development plans
  • Understand the competitive environment and identify opportunities for commercial development
  • Animate actively the implementation and success of Guerlain launch plan and animations that galvanize the store, effectively managing internal and external communication to ensure successful events
  • Optimize stock levels and sell through by analyzing your sales and communicating with back office

Client and Brand Management

  • Embody Guerlain’s image for clients, external people and sales team
  • Spread a client and service centric mind-set in the team and deliver a world class client experience within the Boutique
  • Proactively propose and execute in-store actions to drive traffic to the store and to develop customer loyalty guaranteeing excellent service
  • Manage and lead team effort in clientele and CRM activities, including effective usage of the tools
  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards
  • Improve clients and team experience by listening customer's feedback

People Management

  • Communicate and reflect the brand and corporate strategy, projects and goals to the team
  • Create a supportive environment to drive, continuously motivate and empower the teams to meet assigned objectives and targets
  • Consistently manage performance and develop the skills and knowledge of all team members effectively utilizing company tools and training
  • Lead by example: support and uphold the Guerlain values and competencies at all times, be the first and utmost ambassador for the brand playing an active role on the sales floor and managing clients personally
  • Manage timetables according to team and business imperatives
  • Ensure that the team is knowledgeable of Brand history and product information in all categories
  • Ensure team’s respect of Guerlain standards in terms in brand knowledge, behavior and presentation
  • Decisions on recruitment
  • Performance review for the team

Operations

  • Define and manage day-to-day and administration of the boutique
  • Effectively manage stock both back and front of house in terms of quantities and merchandising guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Ensure operational compliance across the Boutique and team ensuring that all aspects of company procedures are adhered to including cash, stock, IT
  • Ensure that the health and safety of the Boutique and team are managed in line with brand and legal expectations

  • 2 years + as or Boutique Manager preferably in the luxury retail environment or/and premium cosmetic
  • Proven track record in excelling retail results (sales and profitability)
  • Experience of handling and executing well planned and successful brand events

Technical skills

  • Very good selling skills
  • Very good conversation skills
  • Good cosmetic and make-up application knowledge
  • Very good knowledge of Polish and English written and verbal
  • Self-confident, liking contact with people and at ease to approach customers
  • Adaptable to novelty and change, eager to learn
