This is an exciting, high-impact opportunity to help shape the course of one of the world’s leading technology company’s expansion from automotive to other market areas. The company is focusing on accelerating growth in non-automotive, or adjacent markets, including Industrial, Robotics, Commercial Vehicles, Construction, Agriculture, Commercial Aerospace, Space, and Energy. This role will be responsible for expanding growth into the Industrial and Robotics Markets.
Build and maintain foundational market analyses outlining the key customers, competitors, products and market size in the industrial and robotics market space.
Track and improve industrial and robotics market sales, bookings, and profitability trends by customer, market, and product lines
Own new product / technology roadmap and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Line, Marketing, and Distribution teams in evaluating and recommending what additional portfolio/products are needed to increase our sales in industrial and robotics markets
Lead business case development for new product portfolio
Develop Market models (TAM) including size, growth, and market share – in collaboration with the Corporate Strategy team
Develop competitor benchmarking including products and market share
Scanning and collation of market intelligence (M&A, product launches, new market entrants, footprint investments, etc.)
Support material preparation for internal business reviews
Industrial and robotics market sales, bookings, and profitability growth
Market Strategy and Product Roadmap for industrial and robotics markets
Lead Sales, Engineering, Product Line, and Distribution teams in prioritizing key industrial and robotics market opportunities
Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Line, Marketing, and Distribution teams in identifying which of our current automotive products best match industrial and robotics market customer needs to promote growth
Collaborate with Corporate Strategy and M&A teams on evaluating and recommending potential inorganic growth opportunities in the industrial and robotics market space
Provide coaching, guidance, mentorship to working team members
Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in areas relevant for our business e.g. products like wire harness and connectors and end markets like industrial and robotics
Demonstrated skills and experience in solving complex business problems – includes structuring the problem, gathering and analyzing data, generating insights and recommendations
Strong communication skills, including the ability to develop polished visuals (PowerPoint) and communicate effectively with senior audiences
Growth driven hunter mentality
High motivation with a track record of strong performance and career progression
Fluent in French or Italian / and English (both speaking & writing)
