Business Development Manager Project Logistics (m/f/d)

For our Bremen or Hamburg office, we are seeking a Business Development Manager Project Logistics (m/f/d) with a strong project logistics related operative background to join our team at the earliest possible time.

Your future Tasks

  • Developing project business in DACH
  • Propose sales plan and execute sales activities in line with the validated sales plan
  • Pricing, Tender Management, Preparation of Bids and Follow Up
  • Assure successful account integration to operations
  • Share information by using sales-support tools (CVIEW/ Salesforce)
  • Optimize cost of sales activities (trips, travel expenses, etc.)
  • Assure compliance with the sales process
  • Enforce CEVA’s guidelines and procedures
  • Decision Making Authority
    • Margins and selling rates
    • Service offering in line with corporate guidelines
    • Process ownership for local contents

Your Profile

  • Function- / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working
  • Functional know-how in air / sea / logistics / ground / OOG / projects
  • Strong sales know-how
  • Strong project management related operational Background
  • Experience in managing complex global industrial projects
  • Technical understanding (incl. experience in Heavy lift transportation & lifting)
  • Understanding of CEVA general and Project Logistics strategy and products
  • Deep local market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment)
  • Strong customer relations with focus to project logistics
  • Business administration competence
  • Able to manage cross-functional interfaces (ops, external service provider, etc.)
  • Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign, delegate and control)
  • Capable of independently meeting expected sales goals in the assigned territories
