C# Backend Developer – Industrial / MES Systems

The solutions range from backend services for data processing and visualization to control systems and integrations with industrial hardware.

Tasks

As part of the backend development team, you will play an active role in building new systems from the ground up. You will be involved in technical decisions early on and contribute to building scalable, high-quality backend services tailored to customer requirements.

• Contributing to the growth of the development team and participating in architecture and tool decisions.
• Design and implementation of service-based interfaces and backend components
• Development and extension of APIs for industrial data processing and system integration
• Integration of new services into existing system landscapes and customer environments
• Close collaboration with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Profile

• Solid programming experience with C# and in backend development
• Solid knowledge of HTTP-based services, RESTful APIs, ASP.NET and relational databases (e.g. SQL systems)
• Experience with messaging or industrial communication standards is an advantage.
• Strong focus on clean code, maintainability, and quality
• Familiar with test-driven development (TDD)
• Confident in the use of distributed version control systems
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
