The Role

• We are looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer / Application Developer (m/f/d) to support the ongoing development of a complex, business-critical C++ application in Munich.
• This role focuses on extending and improving an existing system , not short-term feature delivery.
• You will work closely with users and interface partners, contributing to high-reliability software in a structured, professional engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Further development and optimisation of an existing C++ application
• Independent clarification and analysis of requirements with users
• Technical coordination with interface partners and stakeholders
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• User guidance and support
• Contribution to clean, maintainable, long-term codebases

Required Skills & Experience

• Very strong professional experience in C++ (modern C++ preferred)
• Solid experience with CMake
• Confident use of Git
• Experience working with Visual Studio
• Embedded systems or embedded C++ experience is a strong advantage

Languages

• German: Negotiation-level / business-fluent
• English: Basic to good working knowledge
• Hybrid working model with up to 60% remote work
• Long-term project stability (up to 24 months)
• Predictable workload (35–40 hours/week )
• Work on high-impact, mission-critical software systems
