CAE Engineer

CAE Engineer – Vibration Comfort and Acoustics

For our locations in Ingolstadt and Stuttgart, we are seeking CAE Engineers – Vehicle Comfort and Acoustics.

Responsibilities

• Simulation-based functional development in vehicle projects, focusing on ride comfort and acoustics.
• Coordination with the relevant departments of our customers from early concept through series production.
• Comprehensive analysis and optimisation of design concepts and development stages for the vehicle body and complete vehicle.
• Discussion of results with customers, identification of potential improvements, and definition of subsequent development steps.
• Optimisation of the entire CAE process chain and continuous improvement of methods and tools.

Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computational Engineering, or a comparable field with sound FEM knowledge.
• Proficiency with common CAE tools such as ANSA, NASTRAN, and Animator.
• Strong understanding of engineering mechanics and well-developed analytical skills.
• Programming skills, preferably Python.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities, with a confident demeanor in customer interactions.
• Graduates are welcome; comprehensive training and onboarding will be provided.
