Campus Lead (Data Centre)

The Project Director will provide strategic leadership and overall accountability for the successful delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects or campus developments. The role involves overseeing multiple project teams, ensuring alignment across all disciplines, and driving performance across programme, commercial, quality, and safety objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of data centre projects or multi-phase campus developments
• Provide strategic direction and oversight to Senior Project Managers and delivery teams
• Ensure effective coordination across CSA, MEP, and ICT workstreams
• Drive programme performance, cost control, and risk management at a project and portfolio level
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary senior point of contact
• Oversee commercial performance, contracts, and change management processes
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Lead governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement at executive level
• Support commissioning strategy, client handover, and operational readiness

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Project Director or senior leadership role delivering large-scale construction projects
• Strong track record in data centre or mission-critical environments preferred
• Extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams across complex programmes
• Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management expertise
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Background with leading main contractors or specialist data centre delivery firms
• Familiarity with commissioning, IST, and operational handover of critical facilities
