Your responsibilities

  • Strategic development of the Instruments / Devices product group in line with global procurement strategy
  • Qualification and development of suppliers in terms of quality, delivery reliability and costs
  • Preparation and contract negotiations in cooperation with specialist departments and the legal department
  • Conducting global market, risk, and potential analyses
  • Executing price analyses and tenders to achieve target costs
  • Implementation of the product group strategy for supply security, quality and cost optimization
  • Initiation of cost reduction and improvement projects
  • Preparation and implementation of international tenders
  • Support in the development and implementation of purchasing guidelines and procurement processes
  • International stakeholder management

Your profile

  • Completed degree in industrial engineering or business administration
  • Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing of technical products in an industrial company or a management consultancy
  • In-depth experience in interdisciplinary project management and in using process analysis methods
  • Experience in contract law
  • Confident use of MS Office and SAP
  • Business fluent English, fluent in German
  • Proactive, independent team player with strong intercultural and social skills as well as strong negotiation, communication and assertiveness skills
  • Entrepreneurial and analytical mindset, results-oriented approach to work
