CG-Animation Production Manager (f/m/d), starting 1 June 2026 / 1 July h/week)
We are one of Germany’s leading producers of animated feature films and series in family entertainment. Our focus lies on story development, financing, and European co-productions.
From our creative and administrative headquarters in Berlin and our pre‑production studio in Hamburg (incl. production management & directors), we work closely with partner studios in Germany and other countries. We place great importance on producing with care, high quality standards, and a respectful, appreciative working environment.
We are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced Production Manager, preferably based in Hamburg; however, remote work is not excluded.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for scheduling, resource planning, and capacity management
- Creation and supervision of workflows between individual production partners and studios
- Independent and continuous optimization of technical and organizational workflows as well as communication
- Management and supervision of project goals and deadlines, including weekly reports
- Management and supervision of quality control
- Communication with all production partners, studios, and the entire team
- Close collaboration with the Director and Art Director to realize the creative vision within the project framework
Profile
- Several years of experience in production management in film/animation with multiple completed productions
- Strong understanding of complex technical production processes
- High level of social competence and the ability to motivate a team
- Ability to clearly communicate complex issues
- Proactive and independent working style
- Structured, solution-oriented approach as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
- Very good written and spoken communication skills in English, ideally some German
- Confident use of common production tools (e.g. ShotGrid, MS Office/Excel)
- Experience with a USD‑pipeline is an advantage
