Commercial Director Job Description

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Commercial Director to lead the development and execution of strategies for accelerating growth within the Mass retail channel in Germany. This role will deliver successful market expansion through effective negotiation and partnership-building with key retailers.

This Commercial Director position is responsible for owning and driving commercial strategy across Grocery and Discount channels in Germany. It involves developing customer-specific plans aligned with overall business objectives, leading cross-functional teams of National Account Managers and Key Account Executives, managing sales forecasts, gross margins, trade spends and revenue targets per customer.

The ideal candidate is an experienced senior leader with a track record of success in sales (Mass or Discount Channel) who can drive strategic planning and perfect execution while fostering people development opportunities.
