Chief Science Officer

Our client is an innovative speciality pharmaceutical company in the Munich metropolitan area with development and products in the field of value‑added medicine. We are looking for a Chief Science Officer (f/m/x) to expand the management team.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for product development across the entire life cycle – from product concept to preclinical/clinical development to approval and lifecycle management
Structuring and expansion of the R&D department with the aim of increasing the number of R&D development projects
Further development of current technology and identification and evaluation of new technologies
Establishment and further development of a strategically relevant IP portfolio

Qualifications

University degree with a doctorate in medicine, pharmacy or natural sciences or similar qualification
Many years of leadership and management experience in the development of biosimilars or drug‑device products for international markets (EU, USA)
In‑depth knowledge of process development and CMC topics
Sound German and fluent English skills, both written and spoken
