SUMMARY

The Clinical Application Specialist Germany and Austria will provide technical and clinical support of KOELIS Trinity System and connected applications. He/she will support the German management and sales team to optimize clinical support and coverage across the KOELIS installed base, as well as supporting commercial activity in optimizing utilization and procedural usage. The Clinical Application Specialist Germany and Austria will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support of the KOELIS device system and process to colleagues, customer site staff and /or potential customers. The role may also be responsible for aspects of field service support including system installations and repairs as well as acting as Germany contact for any clinical trials or ongoing product development. The role will require regular communication with the Sales & Marketing team to keep them informed of what is being observed in the field relative to KOELIS commercial activity.

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Commercial, R&D, Marketing and Sales teammates to identify training requirements by creating competency, comfort, and expertise with all KOELIS technologies among physician and support staff.
  • Perform work that involves a high degree of independence.
  • Exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing work; monitors performance and reports status to manager.
  • Provide medical professionals with product training, support, information, and training on the use of Company products and with staff education, in-services, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Partner with commercial colleagues to develop and execute clinical support and training activity to increase surgical user’s skills, patient selection and optimize product utilization.
  • Work closely with the training department and Sales & Marketing team to design, develop and facilitate training for sites and internal and external customers.
  • Following training and clearly demonstrating experience in mentoring and guiding internal training programs, the Clinical Application Specialist Germany and Austria is expected to take responsibility for signing off internal clinical and commercial team member.
  • Ensure training programs run efficiently, are effective and compliant to our regulatory standards.
  • Consult with R&D on product development including updates and any technical development feedback.
  • Provide instruction to surgeons and participants in formal classroom and field settings.
  • Provide support and ownership of workshop programs.
  • Troubleshoot product issues in the field and respond to R&D and Sales & Marketing staff and customer product issues.
  • Provide customer feedback to Marketing and R&D on product design and customer utilization needs.
  • Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the KOELIS Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical and clinical information to answer customer or prospects requests.
  • Ensure a continuous technological and competition surveillance.

Location: This is a travel related job and the position will be based from their own home office and be in reach of a major airports.
