We specialize in scalable IT infrastructures, big data, and machine learning solutions as a certified Google partner. Our offices in Budapest, Singapore, Berlin, and Jakarta serve as innovation hubs for global projects.

As part of our growth, we are expanding our team with a German‑speaking Sales Engineer who will play a pivotal role in helping our clients successfully adopt Google Cloud products. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers throughout their cloud transformation journey. This position is crucial in the pre‑sales phase, where you will help win partnerships and hand over the project to a delivery architect once it’s secured.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers from the very first discovery conversation, becoming their key technical point of contact throughout their cloud adoption.
Design high‑level cloud architectures and craft roadmaps tailored to client needs, ensuring the best‑fit solutions for their business objectives.
Lead technical workshops and advisory sessions for senior stakeholders, both technical and non‑technical, to align on strategies for cloud migration and digital transformation.
Engage with clients to resolve technical blockers and anticipate future challenges, ensuring smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
Recommend optimal enterprise architectures, cloud infrastructure, and tools, ensuring best practices in all aspects of Google Cloud implementation.
Stay at the forefront of industry trends, providing strategic insights and value propositions that drive customer success.
Represent Aliz at conferences and customer sites, acting as a senior technical ambassador and advocate for cloud solutions.

About You

You are experienced in cloud strategy and architecture with a focus on guiding customers through their cloud transformation without needing to dive deep into coding.
Your strength lies in engaging with customers, understanding their business needs, and translating them into technical solutions with a focus on delivering value.
You excel at communication and have a knack for connecting with both technical and business audiences, driving discussions, and leading customer engagements.
You have a strategic mindset, allowing you to see the big picture and guide customers in their long‑term cloud journey.
You are comfortable working in a senior advisory role, with the ability to influence decision‑makers and steer projects toward success.
You have experience crafting and delivering technical proposals and responding to RFPs.

Requirements

Solid understanding of cloud architecture and strategy, particularly within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
Proven experience in customer‑facing roles, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Excellent communication skills in English and German, both written and spoken, with high emotional intelligence to lead conversations and drive outcomes.
Ability to work seamlessly with sales, engineering, and client teams, balancing different perspectives and priorities.
Prior experience in technical consultancy, sales engineering, or a similar customer‑focused role is a must.

Nice to Have

Demonstrated experience in presenting complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Exposure to cloud‑native tools and technologies that drive digital transformation and business value.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and willingness to earn relevant certifications.
