CMC - Director

Overview We are partnering with a leading global Pharmaceutical company to hire an experienced

CMC leader

to support innovative assets across multiple therapeutic areas.

Role You will lead cross-functional CMC teams in a matrix environment and own CMC strategy from early development through key milestones and global filings. Acting as the CMC spokesperson, you’ll work closely with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and external partners to deliver high-quality, compliant products.

Key responsibilities

Define and execute CMC development strategies aligned with asset goals

Lead CMC and product presentation/device teams

Represent CMC in asset governance and regulatory interactions

Manage timelines, risks, budgets, and external vendors/CDMOs

Support due diligence, in-licensing, and program transitions

Background

Advanced scientific degree

Strong CMC product development and regulatory experience

Proven matrix leadership and stakeholder management skills
