Your mission & tasks:

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Take full responsibility for the commercial performance of our distribution business in Central Europe (DACH, BENELUX, PL), including profit and loss management.
• Lead and support our local Sales and Product Management teams, helping them grow and succeed.
• Develop and implement a clear growth strategy tailored to the needs of our customers and markets in DACH, BENELUX, and Poland and in alignment with our base chemical unit.
• Plan and manage budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to drive sustainable business development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and customers, ensuring long‑term collaboration and mutual success.
• Monitor and manage local risks, ensuring compliance and business continuity as well as taking advantage of market opportunities.
• Work closely with colleagues across Europe to align on volumes, resources, and best practices.
• Act as a regional expert for selected industries, contributing to our broader European strategy.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within your teams.

Your profile:

We’re looking for a modern and dynamic leader who is commercially minded, people-oriented, and ready to take on a leadership role with purpose. You bring:

• A university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or equivalent experience, ideally with at least 10 years in a senior commercial or leadership role.
• A deep understanding of B2B marketing and the ability to navigate complex, multi-product value and supply chains.
• Proven success in leading cross‑functional, multicultural teams — both on‑site and remotely.
• Strong operational and sales process expertise, with a track record of delivering results in competitive markets.
