Commissioning Expert Audio-Visual Systems

You will ensure that planned AV systems become functional, stable solutions that are convincing in everyday life. When others are finished, the decisive part begins for you: You test, optimize and technically get to the heart of systems – with a clear claim to quality, performance and user experience.

You will work on complex media technology environments in an international context – from modern meeting rooms to collaboration areas and large‑scale installations. Your strength lies in quickly recognizing sources of error, analyzing systems cleanly and improving them in a targeted manner. You don't just proceed according to a checklist, but also understand connections – in the signal flow, in the network and in the interaction of all components.

As a technical expert, you will be the interface between planning, integration and operation. You question solutions, actively contribute your experience and ensure that systems not only work, but also run stably in the long term. In doing so, you have a direct influence on the quality of our projects and set standards for technical implementation.

Your tasks as a Commissioning Expert

• You will ensure that our media technology systems function flawlessly and meet the requirements of our customers – from the first inspection to the final handover.
• You will review plans, signal flow diagrams and technical concepts and evaluate their quality, feasibility and compliance with standards.
• On site, you will check installations, check hardware, cabling and interfaces and ensure that all components are neatly integrated.
• You will configure and optimize systems in detail – from DSP setups to cameras and video signals to network‑based AV solutions and UC platforms.
• Through structured tests, you will validate the overall functionality of the systems, identify deviations and develop concrete solution proposals.
• You will document results, secure configurations and accompany the clean handover to operations, IT and users.

Your profile – what sets you apart

• You work in a structured, precise and solution‑oriented manner – and like to get to the bottom of technical problems.
• You have experience in the commissioning, integration or technical operation of AV systems.
• You have a good understanding of media technology, signal flows and system relationships – especially in the areas of DSP, UC systems and network‑based AV solutions.
• Ideally, you have already worked with systems such as Q‑SYS, Biamp, Crestron or Dante or have the motivation to familiarize yourself with these topics.
• You communicate clearly and on an equal footing – in exchange with project teams, IT, customers and partners.
• English skills or German skills at a very good level round off your profile.
