Documentary Campus is one of Europe’s most renowned professional training initiatives. Since 2001, the non-profit organization provides media professionals with tailored training and advice on how to develop their film ideas, unlock funding and reach a large international audience. In addition to seminars and workshops, Documentary Campus runs industry events in collaboration with key markets and international festivals.
Behind Documentary Campus is an experienced team with great visions & projects. Therefore, our work covers a wide range of tasks in the field of event management and media.
DCampus is a new and unique European initiative, which marks the expansion of the leading European training programme for documentary and factual filmmakers, Documentary Campus Masterschool, to reflect the landmark shift towards multiplatform, online, immersive, and digital-first content happening in the global media industry right now. This is a tectonic shift in the industry, hence our strong emphasis on reflecting these developments throughout our programme. DCampus stands for both Documentary and Digital and brings together the traditional and digital industry through a high-level training and events programme. DCampus includes two Hubs, held in Munich and Halle (Saale) each year.
World Congress of Science and Factual Producers ’ annual conference is the pre-eminent international event where the factual media community gathers to share, explore and reveal how science, history and other content-rich subjects are communicated to a mass audience. The event is held in a different city each year.
SILBERSALZ Festival is an international science and media festival that has been held annually in Halle (Saale) since 2018. It includes a public festival programme and brings science, media, art and society together in dialogue.
Sunny Side of the Doc is a three-day market taking place yearly in La Rochelle (France). It has become the leading international industry event for co-production funding and circulating completed programmes, for linear documentaries as well as digital and immersive experiences.
