About The Team

Our international and agile team is looking for support from an exceptionally motivated Communications & PR Manager (m/f/d) to join our special‑projects rocketry team. You will work in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for excellence by creating high‑performance engineering solutions and you will need to tell that story.

Your Tasks

• Build and maintain a proactive media relations pipeline, including pitching, follow up, briefing documents, interview preparation, and coverage tracking.
• Manage all press operations, including inbound inquiries, media coordination, spokesperson preparation, and communications around major company milestones.
• Develop and publish high quality communication assets such as press releases, statements, bylines, talking points, Q&A documents, and media kits.
• Coordinate PR outreach for launch services, conferences, facility visits, customer events, and thought leadership opportunities.
• Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, industry media, strategic partners, and government/defense stakeholders.
• Define and maintain consistent core messaging, boilerplates, FAQs, and proof points for customers, investors, and public sector stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of messaging across all communication channels.
• Prepare strategic communication materials, presentations, and briefings for the Executive Management.
• Develop and steer the overall internal communications strategy across all internal channels.
• Prepare leadership updates, company announcements, and internal campaigns that support clarity and engagement.
• Plan and manage communications campaigns and high visibility corporate events.
• Support communication activities for industry conferences, product/technology milestones, and other key initiatives.

Your Qualification

• Degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, Political Science, or comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in corporate communications, PR, or public affairs — ideally in aerospace, high tech, industrial, or defence environments.
• Strong editorial and storytelling abilities in English & German.
• Proven experience in media relations, messaging development, and working closely with senior leadership.
• Ability to translate complex technical content for diverse audiences.
• Proactive mindset, creativity, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
