Community Manager for an Indie Game

About us

We are an independent game studio creating a new strategy roguelike with a focus on deep gameplay and community engagement. You’ll work alongside a highly experienced and driven team with leadership backgrounds on titles such as Hearthstone, and we’re driven by a shared passion for player-focused games.

As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills, influence the game’s design, and help shape a thriving, passionate player community.

What you'll do

• Build and grow a community around an evolving demo.
• Handle community interactions on Discord and communicate directly with players.
• Respond to comments and player queries in a timely manner.
• Support the development team by gathering, structuring, and reporting player feedback.
• Build, foster, and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
• Moderate discussions and enforce community guidelines consistently.
• Proactively suggest new ideas to grow, engage, and support the community.

Experience & Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Passion for video games, ideally roguelikes, deckbuilders or auto battlers.
• Strong understanding of Discord and community management principles.
• Bonus: A strong own personal social presence that demonstrates experience in building and managing a community.
