Composites Automated Manufacturing Technician (m/f/d)

We - MT Aerospace - are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the U.S. Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Composites Automated Manufacturing Technician (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Programming of winding and AFP systems
• Direct technical interface to AFP and winding system operators
• Technical support and optimisation of manufacturing processes in series production
• Development of maintenance plans for winding and AFP systems in series production
• Implementation of test programmes, production of manufacturing samples and test components in accordance with aviation standards, including the creation of associated manufacturing documents and specifications
• Presentation of results in reports and meetings to management, project management and customers

Your Qualifications

• Training as a technician specialising in plastics technology and fibre composites
• Practical experience with AFP and winding technology and related equipment
• Experience in programming AFP and winding equipment is an advantage
• Several years of experience in the manufacture of composite components
• Experience with CAD/CAM is an advantage
• Experience in the manufacture of prototypes or small series production
• Organisational skills, solution-oriented working and technical communication in interdisciplinary teams
• Good judgement of technical and scheduling issues
• Strong team and communication skills
