Your daily workout
- PLM Administration: central element in the administration of Arena PLM on both the technical and stakeholder management sides, continuously expanding the scope of the PLM tool usage.
- Engineering Change Management Support: support the engineering change management of the hardware development and supply chain management teams.
- Project Support: part of hardware development projects, supporting the team from the documentation and change process perspective.
- File & Knowledge Management: structure and administer the current hardware development file storage system (Google Drive) and knowledge management system (Notion), drive improvements and expansions.
- PLM & Documentation Training: enhance the hardware department’s expertise on our PLM application, documentation methods of technical specifications and engineering change management process through training sessions.
- Process Documentation: support the process documentation of hardware development department in a BPMN tool.
Your fitness level
- Education: degree in engineering, business administration with a technical focus, or similar.
- Professional Track Record: at least 3 years experience working in the context of technical product development.
- PLM Experience: worked with a PLM tool in the past (ideally Arena PLM).
- Technical Collaboration: understand technical specs and have worked with hardware engineering teams before to create bills of materials.
- Stakeholder Management: assertive and resilient, able to create trustful relationships with stakeholders.
- Self-Driven: able to work independently given proper guidance and support structures.
- Training & Coaching: confident in facilitating training sessions for small teams within the hardware development department.
- Language skills: fluent in English, German is a plus.
Your training goal for your first 6 months
- Proficiency: develop a deep understanding of our documentation systems and change management at EGYM.
- Trusted Collaborator: be valued as a competent contact partner by the hardware development team and key stakeholders, establishing good relationships.
- Knowledge Improvement: understand the current level of knowledge management within the hardware development department, generate first ideas for improvement.
