Base pay range

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Manager to own the end-to-end content publishing pipeline and performance across Unicorn Bakery podcast and social platforms. This role is perfect for someone who lives at the intersection of editorial instinct, digital strategy, and platform fluency - and isn’t afraid to wear multiple hats.

You will be responsible for overseeing content quality, coordinating with post-production, managing the release calendar, and repurposing high-performing assets across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms. You’ll oversee the publishing pipeline across platforms, manage cross-functional coordination, and support the brand\'s growing personal presence by crafting content that feels smart, authentic, and built to perform.

Responsibilities:

  1. Content Quality & Publishing
    • Perform final QA on long- and short-form content before release
    • Publish full podcast episodes with proper formatting, metadata, thumbnails, and links
    • Prep YouTube clips for optimal pacing, retention, and shareability
    • Manage YouTube end screens, pinned comments, and cards
    • Keep all asset logs and Notion dashboards clean and up to date
  2. Calendar & Coordination
    • Manage a detailed content calendar across YouTube, Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, and X
    • Coordinate with editors, designers, and external content partners to ensure timely delivery
    • Track third-party vendor output and ensure all assets meet brand standards
    • Align publishing cadence with brand moments, launches, and ongoing campaigns
  3. Audience Engagement & Feedback
    • Monitor comments, community sentiment, and viewer feedback
    • Surface key themes, viewer reactions, and opportunities to the broader team
  4. Social Content & Repurposing
    • Draft and schedule written posts across platforms (X, LinkedIn, IG, etc.)
    • Collaborate with writers and designers to package standout moments into repurposed assets
    • Track and report performance across channels to guide content iterations
  5. Growth & Optimization
    • Contribute to thumbnail and title ideation
    • Run A/B tests on metadata, hooks, and visuals
    • Produce weekly performance reports with insights and recommendations
    • Stay ahead of creator economy shifts, algorithm updates, and emerging platform trends

Qualifikation

Background:

  • Strong understanding of YouTube, Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram content ecosystems
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Experience managing content calendars and coordinating with post-production teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong instincts around digital storytelling, platform tone, and engagement
  • Comfortable in Notion, Google Drive, and cloud-based workflow tools
  • Bonus: light video editing or thumbnail/graphic experience
